Chilean Football Association on Sunday announced that defender Gonzalo Jara suspended three games because of his non-sports movement against Uruguayan Edinson Cavani in the game between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa America 2015 held in Chile.
Chilean Union said in a statement that it "took note of Baquba 3 games suspension imposed on Gonzalo Jara by the South American Union."
The statement added: "We regret this decision but we Ntqublh."
Chile host and qualified for the semi-final victory over Uruguay 1-zero, and thus will miss Jara for the semi-final against Peru, and the final on July 4 in the event of his country to qualify.
